What comes with my purchase of a Brighterside Candle?
- a wick dipper
- a match striker pad (on the top of vessel)
- business cards to share
How do I use a wick dipper?
Its easy as 1,2,3
Step 1: Allow your candle to burn long enough that a pool of wax forms around the wick all the way to the edge of the vessel (about an hour).
Step 2: Hold either end of the provided wick dipper and angle the curved end towards the wick.
Step 3: Gently press the wick into the wax pool until it's submerged and the flame extinguishes.
What can a wick dipper do?
-Reduces the smoke produced that will flood out the lavish smell of a Brighterside Candle and soot on the vessel.
-Prevents wick damage. Blowing out a candle can cause the wick to fray.
-Prevents tunneling. Tunneling is when a hole forms in the center of the candle. Wax has memory and will continue the hole down into the vessel.
-Maintains a cleaner and longer burning process. A wick dipper can help ensure the wick is coated with wax, which can help it burn better in the future.
Why use a wick dipper vs blowing out a Brighterside Candle?
At Brighterside Candle there is pride in the process of creating a scented candle that leaves you only with the experience of wanting to enjoy it time and time again as if it were lit for the first time, every time
Wick dipper vs traditional Snuffer
A wick dipper is used for container candles, while a snuffer is used for taller candles like pillars and tapers
What kind of wax is used?
A paraffin/soy blend (70% to 30%)
What is the burn time on my Brighterside Candle?
At least 40 hours
